Here at The Milking Parlour we make all of our artisan ice cream using fresh milk from our family farm in Burrow, less than three miles from our parlour in Kirkby Lonsdale.
Our family have been farming at Mill Farm for over sixty years with three generations of Crackles' now farming together.
Twice a day, three hundred and sixty five days a year, David, Mike and Richard Crackles can be found in 'The Milking Parlour' at Mill Farm tending to the herd of 150 Holstein Friesian cows - the phrase 'Cow to Cone' couldn't be truer - as quickly as each morning's milk is cooled, we're using it to produce all the delicious ice cream Kirkby Lonsdale needs.
